About Us

Our mission at West Coast Wrestling Club is to guide and develop youth wrestlers in both character and skill development. We strive to foster a safe environment based on discipline, autonomy, and self-awareness. We believe in wrestling as a way of life and teach our wrestlers to live like champions, both on and off the mat.

Our head club coach, Wes Jarrell, is USA Wrestling and NFHS certified coach, a State Champion, a multiple time State placer, and a Jiu Jitsu puple belt with over 20 years on the mat, wrestling and coaching. He has coached multiple wrestlers to their goals for college wrestling, State titles, and success in all areas of life.

Practices are located out of Huntington Beach High School.

We are located just to the right of the pool if you park in the main lot.

 

Youth practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm and Advanced practices are Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

Youth Practices are open to everyone ages 7+ and any first year wrestlers. Advanced Practices are open to any High School Wrestler and Adult wrestlers/grapplers as well.

 

Club dues are $125 per month. A USA Wrestling athlete's membership can be acquired through us or through www.usawmembership.com. It is $60 for the whole year and allows for off-season competition. Drop-in fee is $20. All wrestlers are welcome to a free trial class.
